Silver Circle's founder and owner, Carly Sage, has created a dynamic place for local and regional artists to convene, connect, share, and enrich the tightly-knit community of Connecticut's quiet corner since 2008 when it first opened its’ doors. Carly's core beliefs have driven Silver Circle through many years of success and allowed the gallery to help form a wonderful circle of artists and community members in the Putnam, CT area.
LISA ANDREWS - GALLERY associate
Lisa has been involved in Silver Circle Gallery since its beginning. She was an energetic idea generator, creative brainstormer, and created the children’s programming at Silver Circle Gallery from the beginning. Lisa is a lifelong creative visual artist, currently enjoying working in oils, watercolor, and acrylic. Her teaching career began over 16 years ago; she has been a teacher of the arts locally at Silver Circle Gallery, Westview Healthcare Center, and The Complex Performing Arts Center, and Northeast Placement Services. However Lisa is most likely best known for creating the original paint and wine studio ARTIQUE, located in Putnam which enjoyed 9 very successful years. Lisa is a graduate of The Art Institute of Boston in Fine Arts and Design and attended Eastern Connecticut State University. Lisa Andrews has been involved and awarded in NECT in many local non profit organizations.
Chelsea Weiss Baum - Corporate art consultant and gallery coordinator
Chelsea has joined Silver Circle Gallery to share her enthusiasm for visual art and promote the rich creativity of our area. Born and raised in the quiet corner, she knows the beauty of our landscape and the many artists who call it home. Her background in education and media production serve to inform visitors and advance our artists. Celebrating diverse voices and enhancing community engagement with art is at the heart of her work. When she’s not chasing her toddlers, Chelsea paints still-life florals and landscapes. She is a graduate of Pomfret School, UConn, and Simmons College. She also serves on the board of the Hale YMCA.
