Painter, Marcos Anziani, depicts characters and personal occurrences that brings the artist a sense of nostalgia in a childlike approach especially after being a stay at home Parent of two.. Utilizing bold and confident strokes Marcos Anziani aims to create a story without imposing one, allowing the viewer to navigate such paintings without a preconceived idea while enjoying an aesthetically pleasing picture . Marcos work is ultimately inspired by his children!

I started painting at the age of 28 after an art exhibition in a hotel I worked in Miami sparked an interest in art. I started my research and experimentations.

Painting helps me express and translate emotions that would otherwise stay bottled inside. I paint to release my self of egotistical expectations and therefore leaving a bit of who I Think I am on canvas. I start off a painting with a moment or place in mind and then I build around it. I use materials that allow me to work efficiently as to allow me to be productive in my parenting endeavors. Artist that have inspired my work varies from Joan miro, Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell , Fernando ureña rib, Eddie Martinez, cy twombly, secundino Hernandez among many others.
