This composition is inspired by the view of my back yard from my bedroom window while reading the newspaper in the morning sun. Sunshine and snowfall is an unusual and magical combination I've not seen very often. The brilliant yellow of the low morning sun is a wonderful contrast to the dark tree silhouettes and deep shadows on the snow.
