In August and September of 2024 Nina Rossi and I went to Iceland. The landscape is profound and our time there was well spent. In the countryside that rings the island there are many farms with sheep and horses. The horses are compact and made for the landscape, windy and cold. The earthen tones of their coats are dramatically highlighted with thick and long blond manes and tails. We were rather taken with them as well as Iceland. This handmade print is made with oil based, fine art printers inks on Stonehenge, 100 percent rag paper. It is titled, numbered and signed in pencil below the image area. The full size of the sheet is 14" x 11”.
